Pronouns: she/her/hers
Frankie is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) and Provisional Registered Art Therapist (ATR-P) who holds a Master’s degree in Community and Trauma Counseling with a specialization in Art Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University. She earned her undergraduate degree with a major in Anthropology and a minor in Psychology from Syracuse University. Frankie will be supervised by the clinical staff at Moonrise Art Therapy Collective while she works towards obtaining her clinical hours towards licensure. Frankie’s personal journey of healing through art, paired with a deep curiosity about the human experience, inspired her to become an art therapist and help others find their own paths to self-discovery.
Frankie has worked with children, teens, young adults, and families in a variety of settings, including crisis intervention at a children’s crisis urgent care, teen art groups with the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, art therapy group workshops, and outpatient individual and family art therapy. Her clinical experience includes supporting clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief, bullying, neurodivergence, and life transitions. Drawing from CBT, DBT, parts work, mindfulness, meditation, art, and play, Frankie creates a safe, collaborative space where clients can express themselves and find authentic ways to care for and understand who they are. She believes art is a powerful tool for healing, especially when emotions or experiences feel too big to put into words. Frankie strives to guide clients in cultivating compassion and kindness for themselves throughout their healing process.
Frankie has experience illustrating children’s books, creating drawings to raise awareness of genetic conditions. Her work includes Having Cystic Fibrosis Is a Lot Like Being a Superhero. She finds creativity and storytelling to be powerful tools for education, self-expression, and connection.
Outside of the office, Frankie is an artist who enjoys crochet, yoga, gaming, collecting jewelry, and spending time with her dog. These passions bring joy, inspiration, and balance to her life and contribute to the warmth, creativity, and playful energy she brings to her work.
